No, I won’t pay $600 for a haunted doll, you freak!

How much would you be willing to pay to get the Annabelle doll from the horror film The Conjuring?

It would be better if I didn’t answer my own question.

Annabelle is the source of all evil in The Conjuring. A malicious possessed doll that brings terror and death to those around it. It is nothing like Chucky, since it doesn’t keep running around with knives, but to all fairness, it is one spooky doll. The eyes, the smile, the freaky turning of its head silently staring at you, are enough to have its image permanently carved in your mind.

The story unraveled in The Conjuring is based on the true story of Lorraine and Ed Warren, the two clairvoyants who spent their entire life helping families with their haunted homes. The characters of the Warren and the Perron family starring in The Conjuring are real people who have previously spoken about their horrific experience, when their house was haunted by an evil witch. They do actually exist and some of the family members are still alive.

So, let’s just imagine for a minute that there is a possibility that their story is true. And let’s say that Annabelle was in fact connected to gripping horror stories of demonic possessions and deaths. Why would you want a thing like that in your house?

And more importantly, why would you want to pay $600 dollars to get it? Even if Annabelle and the Warren’s story is nothing but a hoax, the question still remains.

Why would you pay $600 to get a really bad replica of a doll with nothing but a strong brand name?

Anyhow, for those interested the Annabelle doll is going to be available for auction for another 21 days on Ebay.

A girl on my Facebook keeps posting about a doll she just ordered online. Since she got it, the claims are that she finds it hugging and appearing behind one of her stuffed animals when she leaves the room. Claims that even with the lights on, feels a presence watching her. Unable to sleep, and when she does, it wakes her up at devils hour and all that sort of stuff.

I am personally the moron who would sleep in a “haunted” house with a few people, or play with “haunted” toys, because I do not exactly believe, but when I noticed, I figured I would contribute with a current “Possessed doll” story. It actually does look creepy from the photo’s she posts, kind of clownish.
